Slimy's Apple
(Story number one)
Once there was a worm named Slimy. Slimy was a happy inch worm. He lived in a nice cozy red apple. One morning Slimy’s apple was bitten into by a person. When the person saw Slimy she dropped the apple ad ran away screaming. Slimy’s apple home shattered when it hit the ground. Now, he had no place to live.
Slimy was sad because he lost his home and it was winter. Ge was inching his was around when se saw his friend Squirrel. Squirrel was hurrying to collect his last acorns.
“Hello” said Squirrel “what are you doing outside your apple so close to winter?”
“Somebody took a bite out of my apple,” replied Slimy. “Now I have no where to stay for winter.”
“I’d let you stay at my house but there is no room” said Squirrel. Slimy looked at his friend sadly, blinked a couple of times and schooched away.
He found a log but it was taken by Ricky the raccoon. He found an ant hill but it was taken by the ant family. Next he found a burrow in the ground. Again it was taken. Sammy the snake lived there. By the time he came to an apple in a tree he had almost given up hope. He thought it was taken by another worm.
Yet, he decided to see if the apple was free. Slimy opened the door. With a loud squeak and a hard push he was in. Inside it was a little dusty and smelt a little stuffy. He inched his way through the worm bitten tunnel.
The tunnel led to the dark and quiet living room. It felt creepy. Slimy went over to the window to let fresh air and sunlight in to make the room more friendly.
Slimy visited every room which were all in good shape. When Slimy arrived at the bedroom, there in a cosy bed was an old worm. As Slimy entered the room the old worm made a terrible coughing noise. The old worm looked toward the door. Seeing that he had company he was very delighted.
Slimy explained how he came to be homeless. The lonely old worm invited Slimy to spend the winter with him. Slimy was very happy and thanked the old worm. He left the old worm for a little while so he could go tell his friends of his good fortune and to get a doctor to check the health of his new friend.
The End
Ghost Pony
(Story number two)
Once upon a time there was a herd of twenty-one horses. Now, there was one special horse and his name was Prince. Prince had a beautiful chestnut mane and tail, and a gorgeous paint colored body. Prince was a four colored paint; black, brown, white, and chestnut. Unfortunately he was the only paint of his kind left.
Prince was a very happy pony and he loved to run around and chase the horses in the herd. But on a stormy day his mother, Beauty, was struck by lightning and died. He wished his mother were alive again many times. But, of course she would never be alive again.
One morning there was a prince from the village out hunting with his father the king. When the prince spotted the horse named Prince he shot him and Prince died. Since he was shot by a prince and his name was Prince he didn’t die all the way. Instead he turned in to a ghost. When the prince was walking towards the dead horse it disappeared. The prince became scared and ran all the way back to the village with his dad trailing behind him.
Prince thought he was still alive, but when he walked up to the horses and said hello every horse ignored him. That’s when he found out he was a ghost pony. Prince missed having friends and chasing horses about the long wide grassy field.
Then he started thinking about his mother and when he was a baby galloping in the fields. He would stand next to his mother when he was scared or sad. Prince started crying. He wished his mom was alive and he were alive running around and having fun. It made him sadder just thinking about it.
Then one of his friends named Snowy came trotting right up to him and said hi. Wait a second thought Prince. I’m dead. Then Prince realized God must have given him a second chance and made him alive again.
He walked up to Snowy and said, “I missed you so much,” and nudged her gently. He was very happy but Snowy was confused because she never knew he was dead in the first place. Anyway, the lived happily ever after.
The End
I thought I'd share a couple of stories that I wrote as a kid with you guys. They're exactly the same as they were typed out way back then, so that's why the punctuation and grammar may not be perfect. I wish I hadn't had spell check on the old Mac, because then you could see how horrible my spelling was too =)

I like how the worm thinks the apples is creepy, instead of the other way around.
"He left the old worm for a little while so he could go tell his friends of his good fortune and to get a doctor to check the health of his new friend."
How did you even think of getting a doctor? I would have left it with "he went to tell his friends what had happened and lived happily ever after". :)
Ghost pony is a little... interesting. :)
My favorite parts were:
"He wished his mother were alive again many times. But, of course she would never be alive again."
(For some reason it reminds me of Lemony Snicket)
and
"He walked up to Snowy and said, “I missed you so much,” and nudged her gently. He was very happy but Snowy was confused because she never knew he was dead in the first place. Anyway, the lived happily ever after."
:D
anyway, congrats, none of my stories were ever that good or interesting (or spelled right...) when I was little. :)
