Dear Homeschooling Friends,

It has been a while since I last wrote a letter from the editor.  A lot of things have happened since then, and I wanted to make you all aware of a few of them.

First off, some of you were unable to post for several months due to a bug in the system that eliminated the navigation bar for some of you (the menu that has options for posting, logging in and logging out).  I realize this has caused many of you a great inconvenience, and I apologize for not applying myself to fix this problem sooner.  (It turned out after all it wasn't that hard to solve.)  So, for all of you who have been unable to post for a while, you should now have everything back the way it is supposed to be.

I also wanted to let you all know that I am now pursuing a career in computer programming.  I am being trained by a company called Catalyst IT Services.  It's fourteen weeks of training (thirteen left as of this posting), and after that they hire me as a software developer.  I will tell you all about it in my next letter.

Until then, please contact me (with persistence!) if anything needs my attention.

I admit that I was very frustrated in those two months that I could not post. But your apology is genuinely accepted!

And yes, the problem was very easy to fix; I found out how to submit some articles by simply clicking a button in my account settings. :D

I cannot edit my account settings--when I click on it, the page is almost all blank. AND, when I click on personal information, it says that such a page cannot be found.

So can you please fix it? (I hope you'll look at this...)

This problem is going to take some time to fix -- it isn't a simple misplaced setting.  I, with all my admin priviledges, have the same problem with my account!  After doing some detective work, I have figured out (sort of) what is causing the problem.  I will keep you updated -- but saddly, in the meantime, you won't be able to edit your profiles.

Sorry to bug you again!

But I don't see my user picture whenever I comment on something, go on my "about" page, and post something.

EDIT: Never mind, it turns out that somehow, my picture got reset. I'll fix that! :)

2ND EDIT: Actually, I tried reloading the picture and it never shows up. So can you please fix it when you get a chance? Thanks!

Hello James!

(Sorry it just never ends) but the user picture still doesn't show up. I just noticed yesterday that I could get on this site by typing in www.apricotpie.com versus the old way, apricotpie.com . Now I am confused. Did this thing just happen recently or was it on all the time? Also, when I go onto www.apricotpie , all the user pictures appear. And if you can go onto AP by two different URLs, which one should we go onto? Because only www.apricotpie has the pictures. Could you please clarify these things and fix the problem on apricotpie.com?
