The torchlight sways in summer air.
A gypsy girl, she twirls, and in her flight
crowds watch, enchanted through the night,
and see her waves of earthy hair.
Her scenery reaches wide and far
Her stage is made of all the streets,
the only home known to her feet.
Above her head there shines a star.
Her skirt is patched of vibrant hues
and ‘round her neck she has her charms
while bangles dangle ‘round her arms
while feet take flight in worn-out shoes.

The rhyming pattern is really interesting and had me reading the poem through a couple times just for the enjoyment of hearing it in my head. Awesome visuals. I liked the star above her head. :)
