These were written about two years ago.
The second and third of these poems are for laughs. They aren't meant to be taken seriously :) They are based on the movie more than on the book. The first one I happen to like a lot, but it was too short to post by itself. Enjoy!
Aragorn
**********
A gray-clad man,
a wandering man,
with dark, silver flecked hair
and keen gray eyes.
From kings descended,
To kingship destined,
Ranger, Elfstone,
Elendil's heir,
Strider, Dunedain,
Elessar.
--------------------------------------------- Aragorn 2 ************ His sword was long, And bright it was, Anduril it was called. He slashed orcs heads off Stabbed them through, til his friends were much appalled. He reforged his sword And used it much Until its edge was dull And then he used The flat of the blade To crush his enemies' skull. His love for Arwen Was fierce and bright, And not dimmed by years. He loved her though Her voice was strange, And though pointed were her ears. He refused to take the Ring And become the next Dark Lord. He merely used his wits To win battles, And for killing orcs, he used his sword. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Even Rangers Fall in Love Even Rangers fall in love With elven maidens like angels from above. They must stoop down and kiss their lips Before they depart on Elven ships. Even Rangers feel Cupid's darts, And carry the maidens ever in their hearts. Though the maidens must depart into Valinor The Rangers love them all the more. Even Rangers find a way To marry their true loves one day. Their True Loves decide to stay And become mortal women, as in the Beren and Luthien Lay. So Aragorn felt lots of hope That Arwen would decide to elope. If only he could become the king She would not fly away as bird on the wing.Comments
Thank You :)
I've read about one third of the Silmarillion. I had been going through it at a pretty quick pace, and then it got misplaced, and it was a long time before I found it again. I found it hard to pick up from where I had left off after that long of a time. But I liked what I did read of it.

LOL
If only I could get a Ranger to fall in love with me. I've been loving and making fun of Aragorn since I was twelve, so these were great. The first one reminds me a little of "Lament from a Lonely Heart" by Clare Marie.
I have hated the words and I have loved them, and I hope I have made them right. --The Book Thief
Amazing job!
Mad poem skills you have. Love these.
I really liked these
I really liked these poems! The first one was very pretty, poetic. I love the other ones too. I started laughing when I read the second one. It was great! It probably helps that I do like Aragorn a lot. I was wondering, have you read the silmarillion?
My favorite lines from the second one
'' he loved her
though her voice was strange
and though pointed were her ears''
