Chapter 1
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful queen in a faraway land. One day, her company of nights lords and ladies, went riding to a feast in another faraway castle, on their beautiful regal horses. The queen, whose name was Fayette Ellasmera, wore a poison green enchanted dress. As they were trotting through Wire Woods laughing gaily, a dark, creepy shadow of a haggard man, passed on their left, the horses veered to the right slowly. An uneasy silence filled the air, and their breath became heavy with fear, then when they thought they could bear the deathly silence no more, the most hideous man appeared, and he mounted Fayette’s horse, and with Fayette, he rode off into the silence of the wood. The soldiers quickly took off in pursuit, but to no avail. They returned to the castle, and told the king the grave news, and the king wept bitterly. All they found that day was a torn piece of her dress, like a piece torn from the kings’ heart.

Chapter 2
A long while later (for the king and queen were young at that time) the king met a woman of great beauty, and they were wed, they had a beautiful daughter that they named Fayette. Fayette was not like any other princess in one way, she loved to play Dragons, and Swords, and didn’t mind getting dirty. When Faye was thirteen, she was told the story of Fayette Ellasmera. Faye was naturally curious about the Wire Woods, but her father told her not to go into the Wire Woods, and she obeyed. Because of Fayette Ellasmera, the king forbade anyone to take the path through Wire Woods.

Chapter 3
At the age of sixteen, she was invited to her first ball. She was very excited, and planned to have a beautiful dress of poison green. Prince Jonathan had invited her to his seventeenth birthday celebration. The king gave her the patch of the first dress reminding her that it was enchanted. The tailor, who had made the first dress, sewed exactly the same pattern, with the patch of enchanted fabric. When the time for the ball came Fayette entered the room with grace. The marble pillars of Prince Jonathan’s castle sparkled like diamonds, and the carpet was red as crimson. Jonathan took her arm, and whispered, “You look… well…. like a girl.” She laughed, at his jest, as she often went about the castle in pants, which isn’t a very ladylike thing to do! When another guest came, he apologized, and went to greet that guest. She mingled about the room, and when she was talking to her friend, Jocelyn, a young man of sixteen, who appeared drunk, grabbed her, and kissed her! Well that set her off, she struggled to get out of his grasp, but couldn’t. Then Jonathan, grabbed the boy, and threw him off her. He yelled something she couldn’t understand, she was falling backwards, but she couldn’t catch herself, then just as she was about to hit the floor, Jonathan caught her. The last thing she saw was Jonathan’s concerned face, and then darkness.
