These are my scribbled words,

Randomly rhymed.

These are my scribbled words,

Erratically timed.

My pencil moves;

The wind blows.

My pencil moves;

A river flows.

My fingers halt;

Time stands still.

My fingers halt;

Thoughts still mill.

My mind turns;

What of the day?

My mind turns;

What will he say?

My eyes wander;

The birds do sing.

My eyes wander;

The valleys do ring.

My feet run;

The wind pushes past.

My feet run;

I go faster than fast.

My soul does fly

Far above the earth.

My soul does fly

O’er the place of my birth.

My hands again write;

The snows blow.

My hands again write;

The seas flow.

My lips read

Of thrones reclaimed.

My lips read

Of love proclaimed

These are my scribbled words,

Randomly rhymed.

These are my scribbled words,

Erratically timed.

"To produce a mighty book, you must choose a mighty theme. No great and enduring volume can ever be written on the flea, though many there be that have tried it." -- Herman Melville

...this was simple and very understandable. I loved the repetition as well. ;) Very nice.
