Pink and green, red and blue,
Grey and purple-orangey hue,
Big fat eyes; spark-plug ears,
The little people no one hears.
They steal and sneak,
And make a leak,
They hide up in your trees;
Yes, the little people no one sees.
They'll steal your food,
When in your worst mood,
But they'll put it back...
When you've made a new snack.
They sometimes keep things,
"For keeps!" he sings,
Just to make you mad,
Because they're really, really, bad.
But they'll just keep taking,
When you're out raking,
No, you'll never snatch
The people no one can catch.
"But what are they?" you ask,
"Where is it, hiding 'neath its mask?"
They're Gremlins, you know!
Hiding high, and hiding low!

Thanks, Tori!!!!!
Yes, the Gremlins are from something... Bugs Bunny and "the Gremlins from the Kremlin." :o)
They also live in my house! And just like in my poem, they DO steal things when we're in a bad mood, or else when we are just about to walk out of the house.... :o)

"Are you sure this water is sanitary? It looks questionable to me! But what about bacteria?"--Tantor the elephant from Tarzan.
I know who your gremlins
I know who your gremlins are!!! They are the ghosts of the dead baby birds, who were never buried!!! Shocking. Either that or it's one that works alone. Yes I can see him now...of blonde hair and short stature...looks a little like a sad flee. I'm not seeing spark plug ears, but maybe that's optional.
cool!
I think it's a great poem. I don't know if Gremlins are from something else...like a movie or something??? But I can picture what they're like now. Good Poem!!
