Spring Bike Ride

I sit looking sad,
Why should I be glad?
Spring is out there,
But I cannot share.

The bed is unmade,
Clothes left to fade.
The birds sing a tune,
But I clean my room.

Pull back the curtain,
I’ll be done, I’m certain.
The flowers are blooming
And I’m back to fuming

Why does this cleaning take so long?
Why does everything seem to do wrong?
The Spring outside,
Will peacefully reside.

Tuck in the sheet,
Now the rug needs beat.
I’m nearing the end of this tedious task
Sunshine and air is all I ask.

Out through the door,
I’m done with the floor!
Across to my bike
I happily hike.

Down the street I fly,
With my hair in my eye,
The sun on my head,
And the birds overhead.

Refreshment and air!
I’m without a care.
The sheep, who've been sheared
Look at me; I’m weird!

I pedal my way back down the street.
A bike ride, for me, is always a treat.
I’ll do it tomorrow,
Until then I sorrow.

Back to my room,
Back to the gloom.
Spring is out there,
And I cannot share.

I personally predict that the world will come crashing to a halt if you don't forward this to 50 Gazillion people by noon tomorow!!
