Of Life And Roses

Liquid silver dew,
Crimson red petals,
They gather together,
They begin life a-new.
Growing in color,
Smiles they bring,
Their beauty unmatched,
Of earth do they sing.
Through their season they bloom,
Alas they must die.
Nothings eternal,
So life shall pass by.
A new rose may take,
place of an old.
So new life is given,
To us it is told.
The new bring forth life,
The old fade away,
Together they are creation,
Together they will stay.

Great poem. :)

I have hated the words and I have loved them, and I hope I have made them right. --The Book Thief

This is really good. I like the words you use. Very poetic...which..kind of....kind of makes sense, considering that it is a poem. I like it. Sad though.

"It's not who you are underneath, but what you do that defines you." from Batman Begins

Beautiful. I really like it. :)

May it be an evening star / Shines down upon you
May it be when darkness falls / Your heart will be true / You walk a lonely road / Oh! How far you are from home...
