You, Me, And Our Song

I wake up to the same old thing,
Hoping that maybe today's the day,
That I really start to live.
See, my heart's been broken;
It's been snapped in two.
And I was afraid to love,
Until I saw you...

We're dancing together,
And I know, that
This is where I belong.
We could go on forever,
Just you, me, and the song...

I saw your smile and began to melt
My frozen heart beneath the heat of your love.
You took my hand to lead a glorious duet,
And I never want it to end.
No, I never want it to end...

We're dancing together,
And I know, that
This is where I belong.
We could go on forever,
Just you, me, and our song.

When our day is over,
And the moon is high,
We'll climb a tree, and hitch a ride
To our galaxy's far side.
And there our song will play again,
And all night long we'll go,
Dancing to the tune of our love;
We'll never stop or slow.

We're dancing together,
And I know, that
This is where I belong.
We will go on forever;
Just you, me, and our song.

I really like the rhythm to the second to last stanza. [When our day is over...or slow.] But I think that the "Just you, and me, and our song" line in particularly the last stanza throws the rhythm off a bit. Maybe changing it to "Just you, me, and our song" would make it a little better.
