As always, I would really appreciate any comments and advice! Hope you enjoy it!

Rest
There is a rest stop
Just ten miles away
Beside a river
With trees that sway
The road’s been long
You’ve gotten confused
You tripped awhile back
You’ve felt so used
You’ve made friends
Some you’ve burned
Some have stopped
Your distance was earned
You were fooled by some
They seemed like you
They made you stall
You can only trust a few
But a rest is coming
Just ten miles away
It is not the end
But rest for a day
You can’t keep going
You’ll stop too soon
Speed is not important
Just rest an afternoon
There is no set end
The key’s to help the lost
To lead others forward
To show others the cost
The cost of their sin
The life of our Lord
Tell them the news
How to be restored
So rest a little bit
You must delay
But keep moving
To the Son ablaze

Goodbye? Oh no, please. Can’t we just go back to page one and start all over again?” – Winnie The Pooh
Oh wow.
This was really great from my perspective, just because I guess I can relate to it. My favourite rhyming bit was:
There is a rest stop
Just ten miles away
Beside a river
With trees that sway
The rest is all great too. good job!
