Snowflakes

"Molly, it's snowing!" a petite red headed girl shouted down the hall.
There was a small (and painfully loud) joyus shreik from the other room and another redheaded girl of perhaps five burst out. She rushed past her sister with her firey curls flying out behind her.
Little Molly ran down the stairs and out the front door excitedly. She then tripped out the door and fell in green grass with delicate drops of ice in it. Molly rose and her large eyes admired the landscape with the snow falling. The snow fell lightly, dancing like little fairies performing just for the child. Molly outstretched her tiny hand and caught a snowflake. It sparkled and shined like a crystal, Molly couldn't take her eyes off of it. While her sister ran out the door and played, Molly stared at the snowflake. She had never seen a snowflake before. It started to melt.
"Oh no! Don't melt!" Molly cried at her snowflake. And then it turned to water. She sighed heavily and began to cry. Her sister ran up to her. "What's wrong, Molly?" she asked.
"It melted, Abigail!" she said.
"What melted?" Abigail asked, confused.
"A snowflake! It was so pretty," Molly told her between sobs.
"Oh, sorry! Snowflakes do melt, they don't last forever," Abigail said sympathetically.
"That's a real shame!" Molly said as Abigail ran off to go play some more.
Molly sighed quietly, but then ran off. She may as well enjoy snowflakes while she had them.
