Wearing Borrowed Wings - Inspired by the Chronicles of Narnia

I am just a stone
I was not meant to fly.
The sunken ships and fallen stars
Have landed where I lie.

Lion of the sky,
Why would you leave your throne?
And land among the fallen stars
To see a simple stone?

Falling through the blue
To where you are the sky.
Leaning on your golden wings
And learning how to fly.

I am just a stone
Wearing borrowed wings
One hour in the sky with you
Is quite enough for me.

This rhymes really well! I like some of the words you used, and the way you put them together. Very good!

Thank you!

Hannah - whoah, that is crazy.
