I have been super busy this week and didn't have time to write something new so I pulled this out to share. :) It is the second flash story that I ever wrote, and the second piece of fiction that I wrote. :) So please forgive it's pitiful appearance and feel free to laugh!

Sometimes I wonder how I ever got to be here. I am standing in the kitchen of my small brick house washing my cooking dishes, and watching out the window for my husband, Ward, to pull into the drive in our black minivan. God has blessed me so much! Well, I should say that He has blessed us very much.
We met at a small concert where we were both singing some old country-style gospel songs, and liked each other very much. We got married about seven months after we met and we've been married for three years, singing together at gatherings and benefit concerts. And now we have finally been blessed with the promise of a child!
Oh, there Ward is! I'd better get that chocolate pie that I made for our anniversary out of the fridge, and then we have rehearsals tonight for a benefit concert that we are doing for a family who's house was ruined in a tornado earlier this week.
I look around my own house and say again: we really have been blessed!

Thanks Homey! Yeah, I
Thanks Homey! Yeah, I couldn't think of a better title, and I kinda like this one! ;) Although it definitely is odd. :D
I don’t thrive off of chaos: chaos thrives off of me.
The title is so quaint! This
The title is so quaint! This is a cute piece of flash fiction, and certainly not something to scoff at. I know how tempting it is to label all the writing you did when you were younger as subpar, but keep in mind your age!
