I walked, ran, skipped and hopped,
On my way to the Donut Shop.
The lady there gave me a smile,
And I decided to stay for a while.
Chocolate and sprinkled donuts galore,
But my favorite is at the back of the store.
Boston Kreme is the kind for me,
I love, love, love, love them, you see.
A simple donut without a hole,
With chocolate on top, it captures my soul.
The Kreme on the inside, waiting for somebody,
To bite it and break out in a beautiful melody.
I'm eating that donut on a hot summer day,
They're good in the winter, too, at least that's what I say.
On the street, in the park, or even at home,
In my bedroom, in quiet, where no one can roam.
I'm eating that donut, it's 11 at night,
And the time for a donut seems so right.
My sister says, "You really are nuts,"
I say, "I don't like nuts. I like donuts."
I love them more than cars, movies, or even my school,
Nothing 'cept Jesus is quite so cool.
Boston Kreme donuts are like no other,
Excuse me, I'll be back, but I'm getting another.
