I was sitting alone in my room one night, gazing at the stars from my window like they always do in sappy books I've read when it came. Or should I say when HE came. My, he was beautiful. Perfect and purely white with dazzling blue eyes. The only problem was the person that rode him..........
Hi, I am Princess Jaiden Amari Luxsnarion of Marriorn, and on my sixteenth birthday my father notified me that for my present he arranged a marriage to the prince of Baska.
Prince Ulises of Baska is a true....erm.....donkeybutt. The only thing that's good about him is his horse. A true white, absolutely gorgeous, called Ignacio.
So, as you may be able to see so far, I haven't been having a very good month, so let us continue to pity me as we move along...........
I knew who it was on that white horse's back, and I didn't want him here.
"Princess Jaiden, my queen, come!" Ulises called up to my tower window. Sometimes I wish there wasn't a door up this thing.
"How're you gonna get me?" I called back down with terrible slang to scare him.
I looked to him and saw the look on his pretty little face. Green eyes wide and mouth gaping, I laughed out loud.
"What is the problem with you?" Ulises yelled at me, his shock turning to fury.
I laughed out loud again. "What's the problem with me? What's the problem with you with you?"
I swear there was smoke coming out of his ears now.
"I will speak to your father about this, Jaiden!" Ulises yelled.
"Feel free," I said. As horrible as this sounds, it was quite fun.
I heard Ulises make a frusterated sound. I had a feeling he had never been rejected before.
And so I left my window and lay on my bed. Well, this was a remotely successful night, I thought. Perhaps my father would reject him for his rudeness to me, his beloved youngest daughter. I know, it is awful to use his affection towards me for my own ends, but oh well. But what if Ulises lied? The thought made me bolt to a sitting postion. He could say he was nothing but kind to me and I was rude and snappish. "I'm such an idiot," I said aloud. This was going to be interesting.
