Help!

For a while now I've been thinking about writing a story about superheroes. Don't ask me why, I just like them. :) But anyway, I've come to a problem. I want to use creative superpowers, but all the good ones are taken already. Witness Superman, Spiderman, The Human Torch, The Invisible Woman, The Flash, etc. Any ideas?

I made her up a few years ago so I could play with my brothers. She controls sound, so she can hear anything. She is also an awesome ventriloquist, and gets around by riding on soundwaves.

In normal life she is an adopted homsechooled Catholic girl with five brothers and one other adopted older sister, who is the LizardLady, another superhero with reptile-related powers.

In an old story of mine (that I know I'll never finish) one of the characters used electricity somehow. And the other could melt through walls and was really fast in his movements. You can use those! :)

I've always thought that water would be a cool super power. Granted it doesn't sound very impressive but you could control like the whole ocean. Of course that would require being near the ocean, you could always just make sure all the big fights took place near a large body of water :D
But its cool because you could control any kind of precipitation, you could take the moisture out of the air or out of plant, or even (although it would be kinda gross) you could take it out of like people and stuff, that would certainly put things in your favor. PLUS you could also control stuff like ice and snow and clouds and stuff. AND your superhero would never get dehydrated! Thats gotta be a good thing :D

-NICKO-i wrote a short story in first grade(and it was so lame:P) but what i like is the superhero who floats on the wind. you know, he'll just be walking down a street, and his body just starts to fly away a little at a time, moving with wind caracteristics
