Our Summer Not Forgotten

1. Fogging Up the Bridges
Sometimes I feel like I'm the fog, just steaming up the windows and blocking the bridges, you look through the uncertainty and I just blend in, you don't think that there is anything special waiting for you.

2. Old Times
Forgotten crinkling eyes meet the smell of stale coffee windy days are longer close the door to keep out the dust we can seal our lips and keep them closed

3. Summertime Nostalgia
We'll keep our love under the shield of the hot July sun, the only things that bind us are the sand between our fingers and salty taste of the sea in our mouths. Do I ever cross your mind on those humid sunny days where once only my blue eyes were your relief? Do you remember me as I remember you--in the glorious light of better days when the sun kissed our skin and our hair was tangled in the wind.

I'm babysitting and wanted something to do, so I typed these on my phone. Very rough, but I hope y'all enjoy. I put them under fiction because I didn't feel like they fit in poetry. Just remember, I <3 feedback!!!!!!!

Love these! My favorite is probably the last one. I thought the wording was spectacular and I love this idea of just snippets, because snippets of stories come into my mind too, but they don't work with any of my stories I'm writing, so great idea!!! Love it!

The first one was my favorite. I loved the picture you painted--really, everything about that first one.

once only my blue eyes were your relief

Love that as well. Great job, Erin!

Would it be very pesky and annoying and pathetic if I asked you to please, please, please read my new chapter of Reflecting the Sea? I know you have a very busy schedule, and I don't want to sound (what other words can I use?) pushy or impatient. I don't know if you saw that I have a new chapter out... so if you haven't, just a reminder :P
SORRY! I just would love feedback, as vain and selfish as that sounds!
If you're not interested, totally understand... if you are still interested though... please *clasps hands in a pathetic begging manner* please read my chapter.

No, that's fine! I will as soon as I have some extra time. I've been intending to read it since when you posted it!
