Doggy runs toward the smell
Of promising fun
Runs alongside the sky
Parallel to the sun
And her stubby white legs
They can carry her fast
But far is a question
That's long ago past
The clock, it's her savior
A keeper of time
Of her breaths, and her heartbeats
Of the dark and divine
So slowly her back
Curls upward and meets
Purchase with neck
Legs, toes, and feet
And her eyes they grow wider
But remain the same brown
Her paws are now fingers
She makes not a sound
For fear that silence
Is what holds this change dear
And if broken she might
Regress back into fear
And she stops
Her pulse thrumming loud in her wrists
And she stops
Feeling the affects of a kind faerie's kiss
Oh, Doggy
She has found her place in the world
Oh, Doggy
She is not a dog but a girl
I know, I know. I rhymed fun and sun. :P

I want to highlight the whole poem.
This has great rhythm (which was expected because you always have great rhythm).
Excellent poem!

Nice job! My favorite part
Nice job! My favorite part was your description of the transformation. I also like the bit about regressing back into fear. Lovely job.
