Blink [Prologue]

*A/N* So, I know that this is really, really short, but I really think that it could turn into something cool. Please let me know your thoughts!

They say life’s too short. That the years pass too quickly, as if the world’s running past you at high speed. They’ll say, “You’re growing up too fast,” or “It seems like it wasn’t long ago at all that I was your age.” But truthfully, we have plenty of time. We have plenty of time to look at the world. To taste the wind. To fall in love. But too often, we’re too busy looking at ourselves in the mirror to see the fledgling by itself for the first time, or your little sister holding hands with the boy from across the street.

Like I said, we have plenty of time. If we stop to pay attention.

This is interesting. It has the makings of a great story. I liked that it was vague. I want to know more! Haha!

You could definitely do something neat with this. And the prologue is such that you could do almost any sort of story with it.

And what kind of character would say that...?
