Letter from the Editor, April 2011

Dear Homeschooling Friends,

Last month I mentioned choosing a topic to write about for the season.  Then, after hearing all your ideas, I promptly became very busy and did not follow through with picking a topic.

My appologies.

A third of the season is over, and only two months remain.

To start off, I think we'll stick with a simple topic, and perhaps do one of the more complicated topics during the summer.

So, I need your help to make the final decision.  These are the contestants for Spring:

Castles
Caves
Rivers
Forests
Swords
A Mysterious Jar (suggested by Anna).

Please choose one, and leave a comment designating your choice.  The final decision will be largely based off your vote, and will be announced April 9th, one week from today.

Oh, they're all so good. :) I think A Mysterious Jar would be the most interesting... but rivers and forests seem to fit most for Spring.

But I have to decide on one. I'll go with Anna's. :)

... A Mysterious Jar.
It has more flexibility as to what could be written about it, in my opinion.
Also, all three words are capitalized. :)

I really like the river topic, but I wouldn't be opposed to The Mysterious Jar, it just sounds sooo intriguing and, well, mysterious :) It would be interesting for me to see how everyone writes for that topic.

Castles! Totally castles! Not a hard descision at all for me... save for the fact that I might not be able to write anything new for this topic thingmewot, as Darth Real Life is hacking away at my time.

Hm....I vote Caves. Caves are cool :) swords or A Mysterious Jar would also be interesting.

LOL! Hmm... It seems that everyone is leaning towards the Mysterious Jar! It sounds fun, and I think it would be the most fun to read and write! But Castles and swords would be good for summer!

I might join in! It depends on the time I have, and what I'm already writting... but maybe a poem... hmm.. that would be fun!

My vote is Mysterious Jar! Like almost everyone else!
