Laying at the edge of her bed, long blond hair toppling to the floor,
she heaves a sigh. An upbeat pop song begins to play on her iPod but she swiftly changes it to something to something slower, sadder to
fit her mood, then hugs the music playing device to her chest as she closes her eyes. She dreams of her knight in shining armor, her prince charming. She dreams
of them laughing and smiling and joking with each other. They are so
happy. But as she opens her eyes she remembers it isn't so. She's still here, and he is still off on his own adventure. Without her. And again she is just as Rapunzel in the tower. Trapped.

I just found your work here on AP while I was digging around through the archives. I've gone through and read everything you've posted, and I must say that you have a very unique style. I love the way your work and perspective are new and fresh, but still sweet and concise. I see that you haven't posted anything for a few months, but I hope that you'll post more in the future--I'll be waiting to read it! : )
