Chapter 1
                                                The Massadys
                                                                                                                                                      
Once upon a time their lived a family, the mother’s name was Missy and the father’s name was David.  Now, this family was a very tall family. And this family had four children, the eldest’s name was Kaycie. She was ten years old, but she wasn’t the average size ten year old. She was the size of an average size woman. The second eldest’s  name was Danielle. She was an eight year old, but she was as big as a ten year old.  The two younger boys were Davis, who was four years old (he looked more like an eight year old), and the youngest was named Klay- he was in his horrible twos.  Of course, he looked more like a four year old.  The house they lived in was a nice house in the country. And at the very back was a lake.  At the other end of the lake lived another family that were friends with the Massadys.  Their last name was the Hewtons. Their names were Mrs. Samantha, Mr. Rob, Anne, Evanne, Boyd, Mary and Edward. Boyd and Evanne were twins. Kaycie and Anne were best friends. They all lived in Maine where the trees are thick and black.  
Kaycie and her family lived in Waterville, Maine where everything is peaceful and nothing tragic ever happens, until now.
