This was fun to write, I hope y'all enjoy! Do you see what I see? Do you see a forest, vast and green? Do you see birds of every color, chirping and singing, making a rainbow in the trees? Do you see centaurs, unicorns and Pegasi, shyly being seen? Do you see the monkeys hanging off the vines that drape down near the forest floor? Do you see Mr. Sun, trying to peek through the trees, making a brighter green? Do you see the noble horse, pawing and snorting with might? Do you hear a whisper, the smallest whisper, bidding us farewell? Do you hear Mother, saying time for lunch? Do you see the swing set now, as our creatures run? Do you see nothing more than a copse of trees that say the day is done? Do you hear us laughing, do you feel us run? Do you hear a deeper laugh? Do you hear a horse’s whinny? Do you hear a phoenix song? Do you hear a monkey’s chatter? Do you see Mr. Sun, dancing in our wake? Do you see the front door? Do you see Mother standing with our peanut butter sandwiches? I do. Do you?

Darn, sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
Anyway, so last I checked you were antheist. This my sound like a dumb question, but why?

No biggie ;-)
*Shrugs. I'm not even really athiest, more so evolutionist. We've always had free rein to believe whatever we choose, not raised a certain way.

Wait a minute. Just because
Wait a minute. Just because I have Christian parents doesn’t mean that I have this belief thrown on me. My parents just taught me what they believe and I decided it was right for me. I’ve heard both sides of the Evolution vs. Creation argument and I am firmly convinced that evolution is just bogus. Don’t get me wrong, if my parents weren’t Christians I would be an evolutionist, but that is because I wouldn’t have ever heard the evidence for God. Evolution was made up by a man only a few hundred years ago. No one knows when Christianity began (well unless you believe it began before time). I have more to say, but I’ll let you reply first. P.S. May I suggest that you reply through email? It will keep AP cleaner, with less of this junk on it. You can get my address via my user page.

Nate-Dude, I know your
Nate-Dude, I know your intentions are good, but this is not a debate forum. It is a creative writing website.
I quite like the poem, Erin--it's very sweet and simple and nostalgiac. :-)
Annabel: Thank you
Annabel: Thank you :-)
Nate-Dude: I never said that you had this belief thrown on you. I was simply answering the question, and I would appreciate it if you didn't get confronational about it ;-). My parents don't like me giving my e-mail out to people I haven't met, so I will reply here:
I do not intend to begin a debate, so it's your choice whether you want to respond or not :-)
I believe that time doesn't have an impact on whether something is true or not. I think that everyone should have their own view of the world, and not try to push it onto other people. I'm not going to try and tell you that Christianity is completely bogus and you should believe in evolution. For all I know, you could be right. Whatever people believe should be their decsion, just as you have chosen Christianity over evolution. That's fine.
And, as Annabel said, this is not a religious website, so this will be my last comment.
Hope this answers questions

In reply to Wait a minute. Just because by I am Nate-Dude
My Bad.
I totally understand. I didn't mean to sound confrontal (I'm sure I didn't spell that right). The reason I got in to this is simply because I care. When one believes that the other people are going to...(I really hate to say this...) Hell, you really don't want them to go. I was just trying to...help. I'll stop if you want me to.
P.S. I really do like the poem. ;)
Annabel: Did you not hear the part were I said: May I suggest that you reply through email? It will keep AP cleaner, with less of this junk on it.?
What I ment was, lets not talk about this on apricotpie.

I just don't think that it should matter on a creative writing website what religion you are and what other people think of it. I'm glad you like the poem :-)

Just Kidding ;) I like this. It was nice. I don't really see what you see, but I see you see it and that is good.
Uh...Erin, may I ask you a few questions?
