Sparrow
No pretty song to recommend me,
No colorful coat of which to boast.
Little wings in dusty brown,
Black eyes of no importance
And an earthy song
Are all I lay claim to.
Others birds laugh and sigh
To see such a bird as I,
Who lacks even a tiny splash
Of brighter color.
Yet happiness fills me
And I sing despite my
Awkward harmony.
For I own a piece of the sky...

I love this! Beautiful, sweet.... really good. :) It actually kinda reminds me of a song I used to listen to when I was little, about a chicadee.

 I liked this  : )

Brother: Your character should drive a motorcycle.
Me: He can't. He's in the wilderness.
Brother: Then make it a four-wheel-drive motorcycle!

That is so sweet!

I have hated the words and I have loved them, and I hope I have made them right. --The Book Thief

So simple and well written. Lovely to read. :)
