Sometimes when I want to say something to God, I just have no words for Him. Today was one of those days.
There’s a song by the band BarlowGirl called "Thoughts of You". The chorus of the song starts,
"So even though I've tried to express my thanks
It never comes out how I hoped
I want to say so much more so with these simple words
I'll try
I love You"
Today was one of those days.
Isn’t it wonderful to be loved? To be loved so much that Someone would die for you? Actually die?
What more can one do to show they love someone?
There’s another song that’s been on my mind, by David Crowder* Band. It’s called "Everything Glorious". The song goes:
"You make everything glorious
You make everything glorious
You make everything glorious
And I am Yours
What does that make me?
You make everything glorious
You make everything glorious
You make everything glorious
And I am Yours
From glory to glory From glory to glory
You are glorious. You are glorious.
You are glorious. You are glorious."
Along with this goes another song, by Paul Baloche.
"When I see the beauty of a sunset's glory,
Amazing artistry across the evening sky
When I feel the mystery of a distant galaxy
It awes and humbles me to be loved by a God so high
What can I do but thank You, what can I do but give my life to You
Hallelujah, hallelujah
What can I do but praise You, everyday make everything I do a hallelujah
A hallelujah, hallelujah"
Today was one of those days.
Isn’t it wonderful to be loved by GOD? It’s amazing. God died. For us. He DIED. He is so glorious, so powerful, so high. So far above us. But He DIED for us. God Almighty came and died for us! Don’t you just want to break into "Amazing Grace"?
It shouldn’t just be today that is one of those days. It should be every day, every night, every thought, every moment. We are loved by God. We can never do anything to deserve it. We can never pay him back. But He still did it.
Blows my mind.

I have hated the words and I have loved them, and I hope I have made them right. --The Book Thief
Anna, I agree completely.
Anna, I agree completely. When I think of what Jesus left to come to the earth, and that even the smallest sin is repulsive to God, and that Jesus came down and lived a life of humiliation, and that on the cross he bore all the sins of ever person who would be saved, I just want to sing, "What a wonderful Saviour is Jesus my Jesus! What a wonderful Saviour is Jesus my Lord!"
oh yeah
That's how I feel alot, too! Sometimes I just want to sing to God with all my heart. Good job!!!
