Chapter Two
Awakening
I stare around me. The main yard isn't much to look at. It is much too dry for any grass to come through, so it is bland and hard. Master G'ueylue leads us towards the middle yard and orders Master P'elou (his son) over to us.
"Kneel," commands Master P'elou sharply. I kneel, but T'eyltar remains on her feet.
"What are you doing?" I hiss quietly out of the side of my mouth.
"Making a point," she mutters back.
Horror-struck, I remain on all fours.
"I said kneel!" snarls Master P'elou.
"I do not believe that I was born to take your orders," says T'eyltar cooly.
My mouth drops open. This is so uncharacteristic for T'eyltar, what is she thinking?
I dare to glance up at Master G'ueylue, then quickly look away. I have never seen him look angrier. His beady little eyes seem to be popping out of his round head, and I swear is face is scarlet.
"Slave, what is your name?" barks Master G'ueylue to T'eyltar.
"T'eyltar," says T'eyltar matter-of-factly. That is another thing never to do around Master G'ueylue.
"Kneel now," says Master in his most intimidating voice.
I glance up to T'eyltar, who has her eyes narrowed to slits and her hands set defiently on her hips.
"No." She says the word coldly, slowly, with so much hatred and remorse that I can see that even Master G'ueylue is taken aback.
"P'elou, get the whip," says Master G'ueylue, not taking his eyes off of T'eyltar. T'eyltar never takes her eyes off of him.
Master P'elou hands his father the whip, and Master G'ueylue comes around and slashes T'eyltar hard on the back with it.
T'eyltar doesn't even wince.
"That didn't hurt."
I gasp, "T'eyltar!" and bolt up from my hands and knees.
"Get back down, Girl," snarls Master P'elou.
I ignore him, for I am busied with fussing at T'eyltar.
"What are you thinking?"
"I need to make a point."
"What point? That the slave who speaks out always gets whipped harder?"
"No! That the slave who speaks out is the one who's right!"
"T'eyltar!"
"J'uniea!"
"SLAVES!" shouts Master G'ueylue.
T'eyltar and I turn to face him. His hands are balled into fists and are shaking, and his entire body, it seems, is a bright scarlet.
"I HAVE NEVER, EVER BEEN SO DISRESPECTED BY MY SLAVES! I AM ASHAMED THAT YOU LIVE IN MY ESTABLISHMENT! I AM KICKING YOU DISREPECTFUL GRIME OUT OF MY HOME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!" roars Master G'ueylue. He breaths heavily afterwards, and I can see that even P'elou seems shocked.
I am frozen in place, still cringing. There is utterly hateful silence filling the air, and it frightens me a little.
I glance at T'eyltar beside me. I know that she is trying to hide it, but her eyes dance with the upmost glee. I should be happy, but I am afraid. What will I do once I'm not here?
I came up with a title!!! HA!!!
BTW, here are pronounciations for the names I made up:
T'eyltar: Tee-el-tar
J'uniea: Jay-oo-in-ea
G'ueylue: Goo-whey-loo
P'elou: Pee-el-oo

NOOO!!! I forgot that Mad-Eye dies. He rocks, though. I'm re-reading the series for the third time, and was successful in reading the first four books in one week :D. Now I'm on my favorite, Order of the Phoenix.
You're right, a seperate book about the adventures of Mad-Eye Moody.....That would be good!

I'm so busy......Otherwise
I'm so busy......Otherwise I'd be reading them like every week. My faves (I love them all!!) are Prisoner of Azkaban, Order of the Phoenix (though after Sirius died, I cried till the middle of the last chapter), and The Deathly Hallows. I cried about Snape and Lily....That was SOOO sweet!!!

Snape took the page bearing Lily's signature, and her love, and tucked it inside his robes. Then he ripped in two the photograph he was also holding, so that he kept the part where Lily laughed, throwing the portion showing James and Harry..AWW
