Gary's bio

Hello,

I am....Hmm....Who am I? Am I, the am I used to be, or am I the am, I am now? Who knows? I won't go on forever about me, telling everything, my life isn't done yet; and who wants a cliffhanger?

My name is Gary, I'm a typical home-schooled high-schooler. Is there such a thing as a "typical" home-schooler? Well, whatever I am, I like it. Sure, I'm not perfect, and neither is my life, but nonetheless it's great. Yes, I occasionally get those repulsive feelings that I don't fit in (teen angst), but that's normal. Well, I'm fifteen (okay, almost), I am the oldest of six, a Catholic, a home-schooler, a film-maker, an American, and a teenager who enjoys his life.

I can be considered a "radical" because I take my Christian Faith so seriously (so how am I typical?). I love theology, religion, philosophy and Catholicism more than many, which can make me odd. But it pays off; even though I'm a weirdo I have this happiness in God that I truly savor. Don't get me wrong, I'm a sinner, like all of us, but this is my "Bio" and Faith is an important part of my life. God has really blessed me and I'm thankful.

Homeschooling for me is the norm. I was a kindergarten "drop-out", and since then my life has been that of a home-schooler. I love being home-schooled, and I dread the prospect of going to a "normal" high-school. Some things about the strange land of "school" seem appealing, but I do love being a Homeschooler. My home is my school, hopefully that won't change until college.

My passion is filmmaking. For me a camera is a jewel of hope in a fallen world (I'm good at exaggerating too!). For me, forming movies out of video is an incredible adventure. It is a love that is being fostered, and soon (hopefully, and prayerfully) will be a job. From script to film, that is my awesome love, all the ins and outs of it.

That's basically me, not too awesome, not too shabby. Just me.

I should write up something like this for myself.
