Awesome job, Mamie. It turned out wonderfully!

"We have been created for greater things. Why stoop down to things that will spoil the beauty of our hearts?" ~Mother Theresa

This was beautiful!!! I love the whole idea of the poem!! Wonderful job.

"Out of doubt, out of dark to the day's rising,
I came singing in the sun, sword unsheathing.
To hope's end I rode and to heart's breaking:
Now for wrath, now for ruin and a red nightfall!"

Wonderful reminders of the hope we have in Christ, Mamie! Thank you!

I have hated the words and I have loved them, and I hope I have made them right. --The Book Thief

Mamie...this is downright stunning.

Just be sure to check all the wardrobes.

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve." -Bilbo Baggins [The Lord of the Rings]

It's a good reminder of how God's word counturs Satan's lies...but maybe it should be classified as a poem.

Haha, yeah, technically it could be posted as a poem, but somehow when I wrote it it just didn't strike me that way.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. :)

You did an amazing job, Mames, putting this together. It took a lot of thought. The part that jumped out most to me was:

loved by none…

“I have loved you.”
John 13:34

suffocating in my sin…

“Because I live, you will also live.”
John 14:18

I'm sure different parts of the poem will touch people in different ways! I feel like it needs to be posted on some bulletin board in a super market, for people to see. :D :D
