I heard a beautiful song a little while back, and want to share it and my thoughts with you.

"So much noise, so much peace destroyed. I can hardly hear the voice leading me thru the void.
So much noise...Destruction in disguise. Opportunities to compromise, to make the beautiful in their eyes."

The world is full of little things that discourage us, that blind us, that keep us from seeing the true path in front of us and following it. Things that distract us. Alot of little whisperings that tell us we need to be this way or that way in order to be beautiful, to be valued and included. Mostly they seem harmless, but it's really destruction in disguise. It makes walking on the high road rather difficult.

"But I'm not gonna buy the worlds little lies.
Cause I define myself and find my beauty in the light He gives.
I'm refined by His divine intentions everyday I live.
It doesn't matter what the world believes, or what they say that beauty means.
It comes from within. I want to be beautiful to Him."

It doesn't matter what the world thinks of us...our true beauty comes from within. It's not about how we look, or what we do. It's about our beauty within, about what we do for others. When we are living as we should His light will shine through us. It will light our lives, and the lives of the people around us.

"I know how to shine, my life's not really mine. Its not about a worldly climb, its all about His design. So in His eyes I wanna shine."

Our lives were given to us. "God gives us first breath, and second, the perishable gift of time. He then gives us increase."(The Enoch Letters)

We have our lives, our time and the ability to choose what to with both. And I realized fully as I listened to the song, what I want to do with my life. I want to live with his light shining in me. I want to walk the high road. I want to be a good and faithful servant.

"I want to live to have His peace and feel the holiness He sees. It comes from within. I want to be beautiful to Him."

It really truly doesn't matter what the world thinks, or what they say we should be. Beauty comes from within. And now that I've fully realized that, I feel like I can continue on and endure to the end. I can be who I am meant to be.

I want to be beautiful to Him.
