Have you ever met someone that just....fascinated you? It wasn't a crush, although for a time you thought it was, but you finally realized you were simply fascinated with them. And maybe that you looked up to them, or admired them, or possibly were infatuated with them, but it was not a crush. But by the time you figure that out, it's too late and everyone still thinks you have a crush, but you can't talk them out of it, even thought it's totally true. And you simply think of this certain person as a sort of big brother figure, but of course you still can't convince anyone that this is the case. Even if you have never been in such a situation, is it really hard to see how difficult it would be if you were?
