Tarrant

Submitted by Bernadette on Tue, 08/05/2008 - 02:08

Feathered hooves
pound on sand
shining white body
gleaming with the sun.

Black head plunging
into tumbling waves
high and curling crash
under trampling hooves.

Mane and tail
flow out behind
like ever sailing
blue seas.

Wild eyes like
raging storms when
they come upon
ocean deep.

Arched muscles under
Thick neck
Tarrant son of Thunderhooves
Gallops ever on.
