Branches in the puddle on the sidewalk

Branches in the puddle on the sidewalk
dark against the pale face of the sky
broken pictures of a broken world
windows to a place like mine
but not the same
I wonder – do they cry there?

The wind, it leaves the flowering branches crying
raining down their life over my face
little echoes of what I was made for
pieces of a near, dear place
but far away
I wonder – would I know it?

Sky like water in the painter’s paint glass
wide and watery and dirty white
quiet veil over the face of God
dripping glory from behind
but here inside
I wonder – could it fill me?

It had a lovely flow, I really enjoyed this. And I just realized how often I use the word really....I should really add that to my favorite words list. Here I go again! Really....Lol, sorry-off topic =)

January 1, I've got alot of things on my mind
I'm looking at my body through a new spy satellite. try to lift a finger, but I don't think I can make the call, so tell me if I move, 'cause I don't feel anything at all.

Awesome, as usual. :D Great imagery.

"...windows to a place like mine, but not the same..." You are so good at painting pictures with poetry. And I love poetry that makes me think! Great job!

Brother: Your character should drive a motorcycle.
Me: He can't. He's in the wilderness.
Brother: Then make it a four-wheel-drive motorcycle!

This is absolutely beautiful!!!
