It was a highly blustrous day which is perfect for urban sailboarding.
Pete and J-Boy were at the local college campus doing just that.

Pete invented the sport. The sailboard is a board similar to a skateboard with a mast in the center.
The mast holds the sail used for steering. A second sail, similar to a parachute, is attached at several points on the board.

Pete and J-Boy were on the top of a parking deck.
As J-Boy jumped off of the edge of the deck, the wind caught the mainsail and blew him dangerously close to the building.
He floated wildly a while before landing and skidding in circles on the pavement.
"That wasn't a very good landing," Pete said.
"Whatever," replied J-Boy.
Pete inspected the board. "And no wonder: the wheels came off."
J-Boy nodded; he was satisfied with his run.
The two boys walked back to Pete's house.

After they arrived, Pete went into the toolshed in the backyard.
"Now where is my torque wrench?" Pete muttered.
Pete walked toward the back of the shed and tripped over a cardboard box.
"Ow... Hey, what's this?"
He picked up a small device with a crystal lens in the middle.
"Huh, must have been Dad's..."

Pete was the son of Dr. William Banderson, Rinsenar.
Rinsenar is the title given to the minister in chief of the citystate's political society
Dr. William Banderson was the Rinsenar until the society was disbanded in favor of total democracy.
After his death two years later, the now useless title passed to his son Peter.

Peter Liam Williamson, Rinsenar walked back to the house.
J-Boy got up from the couch and walked over to where Pete was standing.
"What's that?" He asked, pointing to the device in Pete's hand.
Pete shrugged, "I'm not sure, honestly."

Johnaton H. Boyd was not a curious person.
His favorite sentence was: Whatever.
But this time he was very curious about the device in Pete's hand.
"What does it do?"
Pete looked at his best friend strangely, "Are you feeling OK? You're talking an awful lot."
"Whatever."

Pete and J-Boy decided to go back to the park and finish sailboarding.
Pete put the Device in his pocket.
