Note: Here is a bit of an older poem, but I thought I'd upload it for you all to enjoy :)

You cannot experience sun without rain,

joy without sorrow,

love without pain.

You cannot enjoy laughter without tears,

smiles without frowns,

trust without fears.

Life would be meaningless

if everything went your way,

if sunshine and happiness

filled each and every day.

Someday you’ll discover

the best blessings God can bring

are those when He guides you

from winter into spring.

It’s only when you’ve fallen

and experienced God’s pure love,

can you truly appreciate

every gift from above.

So do not run from trials

or fear when all seems lost;

remember Christ who suffered

and how he paid the cost.

He taught our greatest sacrifices

and our greatest pain,

often leads to our biggest blessings

and our biggest gain.
