God is real
9/12-19/08 (FROM THE ATHIEST OR NON BELIEVERS VIEW) (PERSONALLY I BELIEVE IN GOD AND LOVE HIM!!!!!!!)
God Isn’t Real-
I do not believe in things I cannot either, touch, feel or hear.
I believe that if there is or was a real ‘god’, that He wouldn’t let such terrible things happen in the world, if god is real why doesn’t he just come down and show himself to us?
People have been debating with me for many years about the existence of god. I have stuck to my belief since I was child in atheism;
I have been happy with my conclusion that God isn’t in fact real. It has let me feel more free, and not confined me to such depressed and guilt feelings.
When I was young I wasn’t sure and tried to leave an open mind, but since I’ve become older I’ve realized there’s no god, it’s silly to even suggest there to be a living god.
If there were a god why would he let children, parents and loved ones die, and be separated? Why if He ‘so nice and merciful’ make a horrid place called ‘hell’ that He sends people He doesn’t like.
Also there are so many other religions, which one would be ‘right’? Which leads to heaven and to God? There are too many unanswered questions. God and this ‘bible’ are no more than a story;
Simply I think this world was started by evolution;
I think that people should live their life out to the fullest, not having to worry about all they do or say. I say, do what feels good, There’s no such thing as an ‘after life’ so why bother obeying all these rules; have a good time, who wants to miss out on all life has to offer!
I think that also if there was a real god that no one would have to question his existence.
How could you believe in a ‘god’ that you have never actually spoken to, seen, or touched.
You can try to prove to me that god is real, but I will stick to my answer; atheism

Do you believe in air? I do… If we didn’t have air I wouldn’t be here. Same with God if He wasn’t, we wouldn’t be.
God has so much kindness and respect for us that He lets us decide how we live our lives. He doesn’t force His absolute truth on us. He lets us decide, though He wishes that everyone would love Him like He loves you. He wants our answer to be Genuine, a good reason also he doesn’t force His Absolute Truth on us. He cares even though you don’t. Like someone who was in great trouble a loving friend would still be there to help, and to love, even if the person in trouble didn’t except. Same with God He loves you even when you are not doing the right thing, are in trouble, or are following the wrong path. In the same way God will still love us when we are on the wrong path, not doing the right thing, or in a great trouble. God is Love. “1 John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. But there will also be punishment for anyone and everyone who does not repent, and turn from their evil ways. Even though God loves you so much that He did and would die for you, you must repent be baptized, and follow Gods truth to have eternal life. The worst crime you can do He can forgive. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Prayer to God is always answered, weather its now, later, or not for a long time. But He will answer with a yes, no maybe, or not right now. You may not hear his answer because you shut Him out, or are not paying attention to the things around you.
Do you not care about good morals? Or what rights and wrongs are? How you hurt people when you lie, cheat and are rude?
God again lets us choose how we live our lives, and does not make us believe what IS truth.
This is my answer to God and favoritism for afterlife. Colossians 3:25 Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.
All religions do not lead to heaven or to God; many may say that it is the ‘truth’ but it isn’t. The way to God is through His Son, if you want the right guideline, read the Bible it is the TRUTH, ABSOLUTE TRUTH. If you do not believe in absolute truths and say ... “There is no such thing as absolute truth” are you not making an absolute statement saying that?
I believe God created the world, there’s a whole book on the history of the world from long, long ago, and tells about what is coming.
I can prove more that God is real than others can that he isn’t real.
If you’re wondering also why if there ‘is’ a God why would there be a war going on right now, or why would the abortion agency still be in business, it’s not because God likes these things, but if He didn’t let you choose your own decisions, you’re answer to Him wouldn’t be genuine. He wants a truthful answer from you. If you reject Him and do not repent you will die, and suffer greatly. If you accept Him not only believe that there is a God but believe in His word and try to follow Him, you will have eternal life.
If you believe that Evolution or some other ‘creation activity’ rules out God, remember evolution and all others are only theories. God is a FACT and is TRUTH.
The reason why God doesn’t need to come down and prove to everyone that he is God is that He shouldn’t have to come down to this world filled with evil to prove something to the creations that He owns. God did come down to earth as a human long ago, and then is when He died for us, to set us free. He did not do anything in the slightest wrong God is perfect.
You shouldn’t have to question His existence, The Bible is totally true, and there are facts in it that have helped to find artifacts, buried cities, or tombs; that you shouldn’t need to doubt it!
Remember that no matter what you do the truth is the same. A lie can be disguised as a truth but the truth will be the same no matter what.
The facts and the Bible, the Love He’s showed me through others, is how I can believe in a God I have not seen in physical features.
Here are some good logical reasons to believe that God DOES EXIST!
1. All other aspects of how the earth was created are just theories, there has to be some God that created it all. We are not all mistakes made by a cell from the big bang, from monkeys, animals or any other Theory like that.
2. There is a whole book based on God (Jesus), His disciples, the world, evil, and good.
3. Do you not think that archeologists have used the Bible to find tombs, items, and buried cities? If parts of the Bible are true about those facts how could not all of it be true?
4. How could all the designs in nature be a mistake? If you look at rings on a tree you can figure out how long it’s lived, if you look at a bee, turtle, zebra, giraffe, human being, do you think that that we just happened? Or that the big bang or cells which ‘created’ ‘us’ have a ‘creative taste’? NO there has to be a God that could do such amazing things.
i have researched and many of the beliefs in the athiesm are sadly what people do believe.

I am saying that your belief in a God helped your family.
The scientific philosiphy that I am talking about is how the earth was once like Venus (I believe that is the planet, it might be Mars....), and how somehow there was some sort of explosion and therefore creating the planet that is safe to inhibit life. You know, like when the creatures before the dinosaurs came. To get a better explanation, I reccomend you google "how earth was created", and then you may get a better answer =]

I like Flyleaf cause their music's good (btw, you're welcome Anna). Earth is simply the only livable planet due to the enviroment-although it is possible that Mars could be livable someday. Soo....yeah =D

Well.....
It's not that I just flat out don't believe in a God, it's just a personal choice. I technically discovered religion close to a year ago. As far as when I'm alone....I talk to my characters in my stories (I can't believe I just admitted I was nuts! Erm...oops). I sing, turn on the radio, dance around randomly (I'm usually pretty random-ooo! Something shiny-told you!). But for the most part, I'll just talk to myself, or daydream, that's pretty easy for me to do. I depend on the future, I suppose.

I don't mean to stick my head in the middle of a private conversation, but don't you think that it's pretty amazing that the earth has all it's protective fields? I mean it just seems to me like if all this happened by an explosion it wouldn't be so perfect. If we had any more or any less of a certain gas in our air or protecting the planet we would die. To me it seems that someone would have to have designed this for it to be so perfect. I believe that God is the one who made the world, and with all the things to prove it, it seems pretty logical to me. Another thought...How do you feel about global warming? As for me, in our science book it's been explaining that we are not experiencing global warming. That what scientists say is polluting our planet, isn't really a problem. I can't remember exactly what the book said, but the point was that the earth works against it, and we produce enough of what else we need that it doesn't matter in the end. Also, did you hear what happpened to postpone a global warming meeting? A heavy snow storm.... Yeah, go figure?

How can you say "what's wrong with muslims?"? Their whole religion is based on killing any one who does not believe the way they do. What do you think 9/11 was all about? That was muslims who hate America! You have no idea how mad you made me when I read this.
On global warming, it makes me so mad the way people just believe what ever they are told, with out even thinking about it. Did you not read what I said about how global warming makes no sense? I said that we could not possibly do enough to make global warming. Anything we do, we do enough of something else to counter it. This is just how the world works, it goes through phases. It could be at any temperature in the next ten years. I have to say that when I read that because of global warming an island was flooded, I had to laugh. Do you know how many islands have come up out of the sea and how many have been flooded already? This is just what waters do and island do.
What do you mean the world isn't perfect? You live and breath don't you? We aren't burning up, are we? What do you think isn't perfect about it? Any closer to the sun we would die. Any farther away from the sun we would die. If we had any less or more of anything, we wouldn't be here today talking about this. I know that we have earthquakes and stuff like that, but that is just what the earth does. It's just another cycle.

I know that Muslims are wrong about what they believe, but not all Muslims are terrorists. I live in an area that is widely populated by Muslims. My family and other people in my church regularly go out to talk to them, distribute tracts, and try to share the Gospel. Most of the Muslims we meet are very polite, and alot of them listen to what we have to say. (For the most part, it's the atheists and "Christians" who give us trouble and are rude to us.)
I agree that there are radical Muslims who are dangerous and will kill. (I get Voice of the Martyrs. I know.) But not all Muslims are like that.
And I do not want a Muslim for my President, but I just want you to know that you have to have the whole story. You can't just look at the terrorists to tell you what Muslims are like.

Falling Leaves, don't you ever watch the news? I'm not surprised if you don't, there aren't many kids who do. But I just thought that if your parents were going to differ on political opinion, that they would watch the news a lot, and therefore you would see it too. Oh well. Yes, I do realize that the radical Muslims are violent and awful. But like Anna said, you can't judge them by these awful people you see on the news.

What I meant about the world not being perfect is that there are just....Too many things wrong with it to describe. Awful people, awful things happen day by day, global warming, animals dying because of cars-as well as people-and it just....It is far from perfect.

No, no, no, no! Those were the Catholics (no offence to any one out there) and Martin Luther broke away from the Catholics (which created what I believe). Although Martin Luther's new branch of Christianity turned back to a lot of the same things as the Catholics, it opened these things up to people and exposed the Catholics (again, no offence).

Um, not to jump into an argument here, but I do have to voice my opinion (yes, someday this habit will be my downfall, but so be it, I am opinionated and not afraid to say what i think... a,here I go again):
1. In case you don't know this, there are different types of Muslims just like there are different types of Christians and aetheists and people in general. Let's not make anyone into a stereotype here. I know of good and bad Muslims, just as i know of good and bad Christians and pretty much anybody else.
2. Does it matter whether it's global warming, global cooling, or anything like that? I mean, I don't really believe in global warming but I DO think we should help the earth and go green and all that stuff. It can't hurt to stop polluting whether you believe in global warming or not, right?
3. Everyone has a right to their opinion, blah blah blah. all that. I call a truce. friendly debate, remember?

because of sin. if adam and eve hadn't sinned (forbidden fruit) and if they hadn't let sin in, we wouldn't need a saviour yet. because wut would He(God) be saving us from? but since sin was let in we needed someone perfect to give as a sacrafice so that we (sinners) wouldn't have to be forever forbidden from God!
Jesus died (the perfect gift) for us, as an offering to God, and for us (our sins) .

I personally am an athiest, but I thought that you put up an extremely good and believable debate on what you believe in.

I do believe that there is some sort of truth within the Bible, but I think that both sides have their theories in what may be true and what may not be true.
I do believe that there is a higher being in this world, not nessecarily a God though. Well, anywho, that was an enjoyable and believable read, Velocity!
