Footsteps approached. I tried to scream, but the gag ate my words.

Mother entered first. Devin’s sword caught her in the throat, tracing an evil necklace of blood. She fell to the ground, unable to scream.

Days passed. The Novaana and Otherworlders trained with weapons. Galadriel's previous experiance with the compound bow had not given her the muscles needed for the longbow. Dispite Ezra’s boast about becoming the best fighter, Trav could defeat him four times out of five because of her extra experience.

One morning, Galadriel awoke early. The Black Wolves were coming today. The excellant breakfast turned to ashes in her mouth. She left the hall early in search of the steward who was going to die. She couldn't save him, but maybe she could warn him.

As the group dispensed, Galadriel hung back. "Ciao, can I talk to you? I really have no idea how I got here. I was glancing through Beyond the Summerland on the way to church, and suddenly I was...here. Do you know how to get home? And how much can we intefer without consquences? What will happen at he Forbidden Isle? I have no desire to be captured by Malekim. What's going to happen to us?"
"You won't need to be rescued. I'll kill all the Malekim."Ezra stated.

Fred Hill stepped out of his car and breathed deeply. No matter where he’d been, coming here—to the Wisconsin Dells Retreat Center—always felt like arriving home.
“Hello, my boy.”
“Uncle Bill!” Fred ran forward and hugged his uncle. “How are you?”
“Good, good.” Bill pulled a pipe from his mouth and blew out a smoke ring. “Have you seen my blog recently?”
“No, you’ll have to show me. Is anyone else here yet?”
“Edward, Golda, Larry, Cyril and Gerald arrived a few days ago. Gary hasn’t come yet. I hope he can make it,”
