Chapter 2
Melody rolled over and threw her alarm clock off of the bed stand, then she rolled over and tried to go back to sleep. The alarm kept on blaring out the morning news, but she just tried to ignore it. Finally she could no longer stand it so she rolled over and got out of bed.
So, I thought I might try writing a story about time travelers. This first chapter doesn't really deal with time travel, but later chapters will. Please feel free to point out any spelling or grammatical errors. Tell me what you think of the story.

“Mrs. Diggins?” said a small voice. “Mrs. Diggins? Can I go to the library?”
Mrs. Mariah Diggins looks up from her book and looks at the little girl standing next to her chair.

Aunt Jess raised me, and when I was little I thought she just had a bad memory. She often struggled to monitor me, from asking me to turn on the oven twelve times straight to forgetting, in the car, that she was driving me to the library for a school project.
