"Good morning Daniel," a digital-sounding voice said.
"Good morning Eden." Daniel yawned.
"What can I do for you, sir?"
"Send Jars in, will you?"
"Right away, sir."
"Thank you."

Daniel Norris was eighteen years old. Both his parents had died leaving him an orphan. His parents' will left him the family fortune including the family mansion. The mansion was run by two of Daniel's inventions; Eden and Jars.

Jessa & Eli

Submitted by Michelle Marie on Mon, 10/08/2012 - 16:13

A girl named Jessa slips her hand through a coffee mug, with Monet on the outside and chai on the inside. A boy named Eli reads out a Psalm from his grandfather's cocoa leather Bible, pages taped into a cracking spine. This is Wednesday afternoon. She's a photographer; he works in the bookstore they're at a table in front of. She's from Mississippi; he's from London. He misses his home, she feels it in his words. They met the day he overheard her quoting Mrs. Browning's sixth Sonnet. Against her nature, she trusted him. He makes her laugh; she makes him smile.

The following is adapted from a series of discussions and thought experiments between myself and LKR.

Thought Experiment 1
Locate:
What if an alien took everyone from earth except you and one other person? You don't know who they are or where, but you are charged with finding them. If you succeed, everyone will be restored.
How would you go about survival and eventually locating and reaching the other person?

Thought Experiment 2
Friends:
What if everyone disappeared except you and your friends? Who would be left?

OOC go check out the song "Written Emotions" by MitiS before you read on. Previous Chapter Nick could hardly contain his mirth. Not that he was trying very hard. He clearly enjoyed the look on the two separatists faces. (let it be noted, Reader, that Milla is a separatist too but doesn't know what's going on) Adren was yelling at Nick, "What are you doing here! Why are you spying on us? Why did you put that note in the book! How did you know I'd find it? You didn't even get my name right!

O.O.C. did anybody notice the notes section below the "Body" box? Maybe that's where i should put the ooc stuff. Previous Chapter Adren literally flew downstairs. Kamor was cleaning the kitchen, and without looking up he said: "I don't know who put that note there, but the name is excellent." Adren was shocked, "What! Someone knew we were here and put that note in the book! We have to find them! What name?" "Teach ar Leith.

Lynnea

One Sunday morning during worship service, our pastor conducted a poll, asking the question: Who has done the most good in our world? Several people answered: ‘Billy Graham’, or ‘Mother Theresa’. Then, from my family’s row, one voice loudly called out, “Oprah Winfrey!” Embarrassed, I slid down in my seat, wishing that I could suddenly disappear. I did not even have to look over to figure out that Lynnea was the one who had spoken. Lynnea has a mental disability – a condition that affects at least 3\% of the people living here in the United States. Yet Lynnea is not just a statistic.
