Chapter Three

1. And the woman lifted up her voice, and wept. For she had not remembered the curse upon the child.

2. And she ran unto the king, and told him all that had befallen the child, and enquired of him if she were to die.

3. But, yea, Aurora slept, and the angels put over the whole kingdom a deep sleep, until true love awaken the maid.

4. And, lo, in the land of Persia, king Artaxerxes son, Ramashad, heard of the thing which had been done unto Aurora by Satan.

5. And he heard also of true love awakening her, and he enquired of his father if he might go after the maid.

6. And he was told to go, yea, even unto the land of Israel.

7. And he entered in at the gates, but, lo, there were none to receive him.

8. And he perceived this, and was wroth in his heart, but, lo, he came upon the enchanted people, and had knowledge to know what had befallen the Kingdom.

9. And Ramashad looked diligently for the bedroom in which the child slept, and when he found it, he came in unto it.

10. But when he came nigh the bed, lo, Satan put him in bonds and brought him unto his house.

11. And Ramashad was wroth with Satan, and now he would never take to wife, Aurora.

Wait, then who finds Aurora if Ramashad fell asleep? I'm sorry, I have never read the real Sleeping Beauty but adaptions. :D

to tell you the truth, I hope he doesn't get out and marry Aurora because his name...I don't know.... reminds me of you know, a king(?)that tries to capture and marry Susan in HAHB. (I can NOT believe I forgot his name! Oops, I need to borrow HAHB from my friend again..hope you don't mind, can you bring it on saturday?...it is okay if you rather not too.) If you are confused,That last part was not to you, Sarah :D

God Bless you!

I'd rather not; it's kinda big and it's wearing down. I think I know the name anyway--Rabadash, right? The one who was turned into a donkey.

How were you so sure I'd check this? :)

Oooh, plot twist. And Artaxerxes's son?! Brilliant!

And the king in HHB is named Rabadash.
