Chapter Nine – Kya and The Magician of Iglis

We rode on the Magician's horse, and before midnight, we reached his dwelling place.
“it is beautiful!” I exlaimed, because it really was beautiful!
“Isn't it?” He asked, proudly.
“Kya is right inside, Jess. You can see her now.” I clapped my hands,
“Oh, good! Thank you so much for everything, sir!” He just mumbled a
“your welcome.”, he opened the door and in front of me stood Kya! I ran up to her and gave her a bear hug,
“Ky! Ky, I thought I had never see you again when you disappeared. I am so glad to see you!” She gave me a big hug back,
“I am, too, Jess!”
“Ky, tell me where you disappeared to! Please?” I begged.
“Okay, Jess. I will tell you, it is not all that great, though.”
“I was going as carefully as I could without stepping on the lillies, but I accidentally stepped on a lilly. I suddenly felt myself shrink and shrink. I was finally only about an eigth of the size of the lillies, and all around me were little people – or fairy's. They were all crying, because of me, two of the fairy's had been squished. I told them how sorry I was, and I knew they would have killed me, for a fairy was preparing with her magic, a noose, it was fastening itself around a branch. My heart was beating rapidly, and then when I said I was sorry, everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me. They said, 'what?' 'I said, I am sorry. I did not mean to step on anyone.' they looked shocked and then one of the fairy's spoke, 'no one who has stepped on our fairy's have ever said they were sorry. You are the first.' I was taken aback, because I would have thought that people would be sorry for killing fairy's. Then, all the fairy's grouped together and whispered for a very long time. And I was getting impatient. Then a fairy, who was apparently the leader said, 'I did not mean you were the first to say you were sorry. Many have said it merely because they do not want to die. But we see that you are truly sorry. We have decided to free you.' And really, that is all there is to my story. Nothing more exciting happened. They gave me a big bag to carry with lots of things that I needed. And they put a spell on it so that it would not be heavy on me, and it would never run out for me as long as I needed it.”
“Uh, Kya. You have a good memory. Better than, uh, better than usual.” I laughed.
“There's one thing I have not told you yet, Jess,” Kya continued,
“they gave me one wish before I left, and I wished for photographic memory, Jess!” I put my hand over my mouth, took it off and said,
“uh-uh!”
she replied,
“uh-huh!” we both started laughing.
“Ky, that is so, so neat! Now you can remember everything!” I laughed again, I now knew someone who had memory like mine. The Magician soon asked us what we wanted to see him for, because Kya had not told him yet. I told him everything that had happened, that we were in another world that was not our own. And the second, I did not need to tell him at all, it had already been granted. Kya was back with me. We were both fed a delicious supper – which was the first meal to speak of that I'd had for several days. Then we went to bed, and he promised our wishes would be granted. I awoke the next morning before Kya did; I sniffed the air, and a delicious smell greeted me. I quietly opened the door and walked to the dining area. There was the Magician, sitting down and smoking a pipe with his eyes closed. The table was already set, and a feast was upon it; I figured that he must have made it with his magic.
“Sit down and eat.” The magician said, opening one eye. I sat down and thanked him. A few moments later, Kya came down and began eating too.
“I am afraid I shall eat too much!” Kya said, chuckling. After we ate, Kya and I offered to do the dishes, but the Magician said with a wink,
“No need to do the dishes, girls.” and he waved his wand over the table, and it was immediately cleaned.
“Of course. Why didn't we think of it?” I asked Kya, seeing we should have known that he did all his chores using magic. The magician opened both his eyes and set his pipe down on the table,
“You shall indeed go home. But you are here for a reason, I am the one who sent you here..”
I interrupted him unthinkingly,
“You are the one who sent the rings, then? Then I figured it out! M.O.I stands for Magician of Iglis?” The magicain nodded and continued to tell us why he had sent us here.

Haha, I laughed about the photographic memory bit.
I think this chapter needs a lot of work and editing, but I liked it. :)
