Clock ticking
Water pouring
Feet pounding
Dishes rattling
Voices calling
Phone ringing
Car running
Dog barking
in this madness of a
weekday morning
the noise swirls--
swells like a brass band
approaching the finale
as the Dog ceases
barking
Car begins driving
Phone stops ringing
Voices chattering
Dishes shining
Feet tapping
Water quieting
as day continues onward
to the Clock ticking

I love the rhythm in this! Even though I was reading it in my head I forgot to take a breath because there weren't any periods. :P
