The Saphire in the Sky

Submitted by Paul McMillin on Mon, 11/24/2008 - 02:18

There is something you must know, though this thing cannot be said, for it's fullest meaning, dreams must show, you must see it in your bed. When you enbark upon an adventure, with eyelids shut tight, with a strong endevor, and an iron will, you will win the battle of the night.and to the Champion of the skirmish, who overcame the armys of the night, goes not gold or plunder, just one, fleating sight. For you will see, agenst the lesser light,a Saphire, with outstreached wings, covering the night. With a gust of air,and a deafening roar, the night comes alive once more.Plumiting, plumiting down to the ground, landing so close you can, touch saphire scales, glitering in the night. As quickly as come, depart it did. With one mighty leap, and a flap of it's wings, the night was quiet once again.Watching it fly, away from whince it came once again, you would know, the the Saphire in the sky,was the great and mighty Dragon.

Well, Paul, you were right about having atrocious spellling. But apart from that, this is really a very good poem. I liked it.
Your bio made me laugh. Haha. But why did you put up our last names for all to see?

This was great, Paul! You're surprisingly good, for all you say you can't write.
Your bio cracked me up.
