spring trees

Cold days, wind blowing, Suddenly, sun shines, breeze dies, And warmth has won.   Tall branches, bare, dead, Reaching to the empty sky, then, A bloom of life, of green.

I really like this poem because I myself am looking forward to spring.  I usually take a walk two or three times a week along a country trail, and right now the trees are all "bare and dead."  I'm looking forward to some green.
Anyway, welcome to Apricotpie!

Saw you had posted another poem. This one's great, too! I love your writing style. I love this line:

A bloom of life, of green.

Welcome to AP!! :)
