Fare Well

Standing on the brink of something vast and unexplored
I wonder how this will taste
It's something I suppose I've kind of maybe known before
But this is different, of a separate time and place
And girl

I hope this fares well
Oh man I really do
I balk at the idea of standing
At the threshold of a room
That everyone has previously
Tied themselves extra tightly to

I'm giving up so much and nothing
In the same decision
Must loose my daily freedom
To gain daily admission

Oh man I hope this fares well
I hope it ends in triumph
And not out double doors with
Ears beating the stony silence
I doubt it will

I hope this fares well
I hope this fares well
I'm scared that it won't
I hope this fares well
I hope this fares well
It probably will
Either way now I'll know

I like this, it's definitely something I've felt before.

Goodbye? Oh no, please. Can’t we just go back to page one and start all over again?” – Winnie The Pooh

Sorry, forgot to comment to this! Ditto to Sarah Bethany! Defibitely felt exhilarated while reading! Well worded and expressed! Love it!
