First of all, I want to extend my apologies for my extended absence. I've been pretty busy and haven't had the time to write.

Just a brief overview of what's been going on in my life since I was last on here:
I was laid-off form my job back in September, after they decided it wasn't worth it to try training me. I put off looking for a job until this year, as we had several major tasks to do around our place, such as replacing our roof and installing a water line to our stable. As of mid-January, I've applied to over 6 different places. So far, I've only had one positive reply, but he's not sure if/when he will be able to employ me though.

My personal life has been very quiet. Spending a lot of time online with my girlfriend, who lives in another state. I've started learning Blender 3D, but it's a slow painful process to transition from GMax.
In just the past two weeks, I've become extremely fascinated with steampunk, and even come up with a few concept ideas. Unfortunately, my technical brain won't allow me to deck out the machines with whirligigs and doodads in order to give them a proper "steampunk" look.

Hopefully I will find the time to write out some of the new ideas that have been rolling around in my brain the past couple weeks.
