candy hearts I found a box of candy hearts Beneath my door And what's more Potent than them? A little quirky, Sweet to the taste, B MINE emblazoned Beneath My fingernail I scraped it off The pink dust caught On my clothes and hair I kept scraping Shaping the heart Until it was split Down the middle In a jagged scar I hate them Those candy hearts

leap of faith It's a different kind of love There's so many variations I'm not sure which to choose For you It could be love-love The kind that requires touch And feeling And declarations of forever Or I could be a bit milder I could Feign off my wilder Side And send you a funny card Which is sure to make you laugh And joke through text about never needing love And you'd joke back To be certain But then again Today Is Valentine's Day So why not Go a little crazy Take a leap of faith?
