A Thoughtless World, by Carlee M.

Nowadays nobody thinks for themselves anymore.
Creating your own thoughts is becoming, more or less, a bore.
People are saying "Why should I want to do others work?
After all, no sparks of ideas in my imagination lurk."

There are only a few who have fresh thought today.
The rest are the same old thoughts twisted a different way.
Not many of us are left who can search our minds.
All the rest of the world seems to be scared of what there they might find.

Because we still live in a very thoughtless world,
And until the ships of our imaginations sails are unfurled,
It's most important to keep the thoughtful around.
For it is only throught the last few in which our only hope is found.

It's in our minds alone that the rest's future is in.
So hold that head high , and set those thoughts free, with paper and pen.
And soon our ideas will catch on all over the place.
Then, together, we shall all see, a not-so-thoughtless human race.
