Chapter 2
                                              The Moving Day

Now one day, Kaycie found something dreadful happening. Anne was moving!  Her best friend, MOVING! Anne told her the whole story, “I heard my mother and father last night saying ‘We have to go, Sam’ and then,  ‘I know we have to, Rob, but the children don’t know yet and that they’re going to…’  BOARDING SCHOOL!” At the boarding school part she said it like it was the last place you’d ever want to go.  Anne was crying the whole story.  “But how could they,” asked Kaycie, “they are your parents.” “I know…,” said Anne in a discouraged voice.  Then her eyes lit up.  “What?” said Kaycie when she saw her friend’s eyes light up with excitement. “I have something to give you and show you! Come with me.” And they were off.  They ran across the field and into the tunnel that separated the field from the rocks.  They climbed over the rocks, then they were at the lake. “What are you doing? You said I wasn’t allowed to ride your boat,” said Kaycie.  “I  know, but… I was, well…, waiting for the right time. And, oh…well I’m leaving and…I don’t know!”. “ Is this what you want to give me?” Kaycie asked. “ Nope not yet”. “ well what is it?!” Kaycie asked disparity. “ I cant tell you it’s a surprise” Said Anne now having fun. They got into the boat and in a minute they where off. Kaycie one side and Anne on the other. Kaycie was more confused every minute and Anne’s eyes got bigger of excitement every minute. Finely ( it felt like hours for Kaycie) they came to a weeping willow tree “ Her arms are beautiful” said Anne “ don’t you think?” Anne sighed with contentment. Weil Anne was having a wonderful time admiring the willow tree Kaycie started to cry. Anne herd sniffling. “ Kaycie! Why are you crying?!”. Anne had turned around and sall her CRYING! “ Oh Anne I cant help it . Your moving and I don’t know if I’m every going to see you again” Kaycie said sobbing. Then Kaycie sall the inside of the willow trees limbs. Kaycie gasped, Anne smiled wide.
