What can I say, its Education
The rite of passage in our nation
To pass through misery, to elation
From imprisonment to graduation
And then you're hit with the full realization
That all the cheers and false ovation
The peel-off stars and commendation
Are all part of mental domination
To herd you into some sterile occupation
As a stuffed shirt in some corrupt corporation
So take a deep breath in contemplation
Find you're true self, and you're own vocation
And don't be lobotomized by mass education
-this poem, particularly the rhyme scheme, was inspired by
the Bob Dylan song "Its alright Ma,I'm only bleeding"
